Tarte A L'Oignon - Rustic Onion Tart



The whole room including the hallway smelled like onions that night! I sauteed these onions for about 40 minutes until caramelized and tender. I might want to recreate this tart by altering some ingredients. Definitely less onions for me and throw in some portabella mushrooms and switch the cheese. The tomatoes are good so they stay and no walnuts at all.

  • fresh riped tomatoes
  • blue cheese
  • walnuts
  • ground black pepper
