Tarte Au Citron - Lemon Tart
These lemon tarts were tasty! The fun part was torching the cream on top. I started liking lemons after I had a piece of Lemon bar. It's really light and refreshing, that I can have one after another and another. Take a look at the Lemon bars I made on my personal time. Which was also when I discovered that I enjoy baking and pastries.
I'm thinking of buying a torch now.
Ingredients
- tart dough: pate sucree, pate brisee, pate sablee
- lemon curd
- lemon peel
- swiss meringue (egg whites and sugar)
- candied lemon peel
Just don't chase me with that torch!
