Profiteroles - Small ice Cream-Filled Puffs



These were really good! Plated desserts are fun to assemble. One of our chef made ice cream during the beginning of the class for these profiteroles but the ice cream didn't stay in the freezer long enough so it was melting.  We had to eat them right away, I almost couldn't take pictures.





I decided to add little hearts around the side. Notice the ice cream melting already. At least I was able to squeeze in another picture before I devoured it.
Yum...

Ingredients

  • profiteroles (pate a choux)
  • vanilla ice cream
  • sauce au chocolate
  • powdered sugar, (for dusting)
