Tarte Aux Fruits Frais - Fresh Fruit Tart

Did I say I didn't like fruit tarts? Hmmm maybe I just grew up having bad fruit tarts or maybe I like this one because it has fresh fruits. Whatever it was, that pastry cream with the oranges were yummy together.
Here's another angle.
Cutting these fruits took longer than I thought, although I did find cutting these fruits quite relaxing for me. Maybe I just like cutting things.
Ingredients
- tart dough: pate sucree, pate brisee, or pate sablee
- creme d'amandes
- creme patissiere
- liquor/liqueur
- fruit
- apricot nappage
Interesting. So next time I see you with a knife in your hand, I'm going to walk the other way.
