Tarte Aux Noix - Nut Tart
This nut tarts has almond cream, raspberry jam, and hazelnut flour in it. It's very nutty and almost taste like a healthy grain bar to me. It can be good for breakfast too.
That's how the inside looks. This tart reminds me of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but the texture of peanut butter is smoother.
Ingredients
- tart dough: pate brisee, pate sucree, or pate sablee
- raspberry jam
- toasted, sliced almonds
- creme d'amandes
- eggs
- granulated sugar
- heavy cream
- almond flour
- hazelnut flour
- powdered sugar, (for finishing)
This smelled and tasted good. If only it didn't have almonds.
