Tarte Aux Noix Caramel - Caramel Nut Tart
More caramel! Okay this tart was too nutty for me. If i were to make it myself I would puree all the nuts so the texture is smooth. I haven't tried it yet so I wouldn't know if that would work well.
Ingredients
- tart dough: pate sucree, pate brisee, or pate sablee
- granulated sugar
- glucose
- heavy cream
- milk
- walnuts
- creme d'amandes
- apricot nappage or powdered sugar (for finishing)
I guess there are some serious nut lovers out there.
