Tarte Bourdaloue - Pear and Almond Tart Bourdaloue Style



















Pear tart huh? This was fun making but I didn't get use to the poached pear taste. I like my fruits cold and uncooked. Also since this pear tart is way too chunky, it did not make it to my taste bud's buddy list. Some of my classmates liked this tart though.

Like I said, I'm not a fruit tart type of gal but I'm always open to being surprised. This Tarte Bourdaloue didn't surprise me like the previous apple tart. If you don't like fruits like me, you should give Tarte Aux Pommes and Tart Aux Bananes Et Creme a try! You never know... you just might like it.

  • creme d'amandes
  • poached pears
  • raw sliced almonds
  • apricot nappage
